Job Summary

Under administrative direction of the Library Dean, the Associate Dean of Libraries is responsible for providing administrative leadership to the Walter W. Stiern Library and staff. The Associate Dean organizes and oversees library operations which involves application of library knowledge, personnel management, and technology skills to guide clerical, technical, and professional staff to work towards goals and objectives. In addition, the Associate Dean will provide strategic planning for library operations to align with and support the overall mission of the University.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s degree in Library and Information Science (ALA accredited) or its equivalent
  • Five years of experience in libraries, which includes three years supervisory experience.
