Requirements / Qualifications

www.sanjuan.edu/careers High school diploma or recognized equivalent; must pass the district’s applicable proficiency test or provide official transcripts demonstrating the completion of 48 semester/60 quarter units or proof of a two-year degree or higher; previous experience working with school-age children is preferred. Must pre-qualify by attaching one documentation from the following list: 1. A passing score from San Juan Unified School District's Proficiency Exam - testing date must be April 2005 to current. No other school districts proficiency exam will be accepted. Transcripts demonstrating the completion of two years of college (48 semester/60 quarter units) OR 4. Proof of an A.A. degree (or higher). ***If your degree/transcripts are from a foreign college or university, YOU MUST have coursework evaluated for its equivalency to a degree/transcripts received from an accredited United States college or university. Willingness to work additional hours as needed and attend evening meetings on occasion; willingness to travel locally.

In some programs, possession of, or willingness and ability to obtain a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license.
