POSITION DESCRIPTION: The job of Administrator, Educational leadership Center and Family Engagement for the Division of Leadership, Wellness, and Student Services (LWSS) is responsible for the management, administration, training, development, coordination of countywide program planning, for the Educational Leadership Center (ELC). This position oversees the overall countywide coordination of activities related to Family Engagement and develops and provides educational leadership development. The incumbent is responsible for all aspects of planning for events including Family Engagement activities with RCOE (Riverside County Office of Education), and school district staff assigned to work with families. This is designated as a Classified Management position and is part of the Management Leadership Team. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: A minimum of four (4) years of successful professional-level experience working with family engagement programs and curriculum, and at least three (3) years of administrative or supervisory experience which would demonstrate exposure to and utilization of required skills, knowledge, and abilities in performing job-related duties and responsibilities. REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or a closely related field from an accredited college/university is required. A Master’s degree is desirable.
