Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Alternative Education, provides instruction in an assigned content area to adult students in a traditional classroom or Independent Study setting; demonstrates content knowledge and expertise in assigned subject areas; demonstrates the ability to implement the California Standards for the Teaching Profession; adheres to requirements for record-keeping, reports, attendance, grading, and credit allocation pertinent to the adult school setting; and works daytime and/or evening hours, as assigned.
