Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, provide a variety of specialized physical health care services to Orthopedically Handicapped (OH) and medically fragile students, clerical and first aid assistance at the high school, intermediate school or elementary school sites as assigned; maintain student health records and assist with health screening and testing.
Requirements / Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent; and Associate Arts Degree or higher; or complete 2 years of study at an institution of higher education (48 semester units); or participation in a rigorous paraprofessional training and assessment program Valid First Aid Certificate issued by an authorized agency. Valid California driver’s license may be required for some positions in this classification.
