Job Summary
Job Summary
Train the next generation of nursing assistants! Assist and supervise CNA instructor with syllabus, instruction, supervision of students, and sign CDPH form 283B (after successful completion of class by student)attesting that all state and federal training requirements have been met. Compensation for tasks is typically 2 hours per week that the CNA class is in session, which is typically 8-12 weeks. In addition help submit all updated paperwork required for renewal of the CNA/CHHA program to CDPH.
Requirements / Qualifications
Hold an active RN License, Director of Staff Development (DSD) certificate and 1-2 years Long-Term Care work experience as a licensed nurse providing direct patient care in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The applicant must have 2 years of experience as an RN. One year of that experience must be in “direct patient care in a long-term facility” and “nursing facility”, and must be verifiable. A nursing facility is defined as a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Intermediate Care Facility (ICF), or Intermediate Care Facility- Developmentally Disabled (ICF-DD), or ICF-DD Nursing (ICF-DDN). Must be appropriately qualified to meet CDPH approval as a CNA Program Director: - 2 years of nursing experience as an RN - 1 year of providing care at a Skilled Nursing OR Nursing Facility as an RN - 1 year of verifiable teaching experience of adults or DSD certificate Must have or be willing to obtain the appropriate teaching credential.

Compensation provided on an hourly basis for renewal submission and teaching time. This position is paid on an hourly rate of $32.56 - $45.87 DOE.
