Job Summary
The job of “Instructional Assistant-Special Education” is done for the purpose of assisting (under direct supervision) and instruction of special education students; relieving the teacher of routine testing, instruction, and clerical tasks. Special Education students may consist of those students with learning disabilities, emotional, physical or behavioral problems.
Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 48 College Units Required. CPR/First Aid Certificate Recommended. Prior job related experiences or volunteer with school age children.
