Requirements / Qualifications

*Graduation from High School or equivalent *Keyboard (type) at a rate of not less than 50 words per minute (If you do not turn in a valid typing certificate and you meet the minimum requirements, you will be given a typing test. If you pass the typing test you will eligible to continue with this recruitment.)

*Copy of High School Diploma or GED Certificate, Associates, or Bachelors Degree. Or copy of transcripts showing high school graduation or transcripts showing Associates, or Bachelors Degree confirmation date. *Certificate of Keyboarding/Typing of 50 WPM or more (5 min. test) must include the following: • Name of Organization administering the exam • Your Name, first and last • Date exam was taken (within the past 12 months) • Certificate must be signed by proctor of the exam * ONLINE KEYBOARDING/TYPING TESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. * If you have already tested and passed the School Secretary III test within the last 12 months with Moreno Valley Unified School District, you can bypass testing for this recruitment. *To bypass testing, please attach the Successful passing test email for School Secretary III with Moreno Valley Unified School District that is dated within the last 12 months to your Edjoin application. *Failure to attach Successful passing test email for School Secretary III with Moreno Valley Unified School District that is dated within the last 12 months to your application will require you to test for this position to be eligible for interviews.
