Job Summary

Job Summary

Provides instruction to children ages 3-5 years old that is age and developmentally appropriate. Children served will be based upon criteria established by the California Department of Education and in accordance with the California State Preschool Program Regulations.

Requirements / Qualifications

Accepting applications for the 2022-23 school year Please note that all applicants must meet the minimum requirements. Multiple Subject Credential with CLAD or another valid English Learner Authorization Bachelor's degree including all courses needed to meet credential requirements. Thirty (30) semester hours beyond bachelor's degree or master's degree or equivalent preferred. In accordance with Article 3. Staff Qualifications, section 17717. Teacher Qualifications of the California State Preschool Program Regulations, teachers assigned to preschool classes must meet one of the following additional requirements: 1) 12 units in early childhood education and/or child development or: 2) Two years of experience in early childhood education or a childcare and development program.
