Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services and the site principal, receives food and supplies at the school site; distributes food items for consumption by students; provides complete and accurate documentation and audit trail records for meals served; maintains food service and eating areas in a sanitary condition.

Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school and some job-related experience. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Valid California Driver’s license • Food Safety Certificate from a Department of Health Approved Organization • Successfully passing the following screening activities: o Pre-employment drug screening o Pre-placement physical exam indicating ability to perform the physical requirements for the position o Pre-employment proficiency test o Criminal Justice Fingerprint clearance o Tuberculosis clearance

  • Food Handler's Certificate (Will be provided upon employment.)
  • Resume
