Job Summary
Under direction, is responsible for the care, maintenance, and upgrade of irrigation systems at all sites in the school district.
Requirements / Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent .
High school diploma or equivalent education; 2. Possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle Operator's License; 3. Ability to skillfully design and install new irrigation systems and components; 4. Ability to perform site inspections and make repairs, modifications, or replacements of broken items in a safe and legal manner; 5. Ability to operate assigned equipment and vehicles in a safe and legal manner.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent education must be attached to all applications. Any CNUSD employee who are applying for a lateral transfer will not need to attach a diploma or equivalency. Applicants may attach official transcripts with a college degree awarded/conferred from an accredited institution in lieu of high school graduation or equivalent education. Transcripts must indicate year of high school graduation. Any related official transcripts must be attached. Individuals who have completed high school, college, or university course work at an institution in a country other than the United States, must obtain a complete evaluation of foreign transcripts or degree. Foreign transcripts must be evaluated by an approved organization.
Positions that are 4.0 hours or more (not including extra hours) will be eligible for CalPERS. New employees hired to the District will be required to pay their portion of retirement (CalPERS) according to the new law (AB340)
EXAMS: If an exam is required for a position, applicants who meet requirements will be notified via edjoin with the time, date and location of testing. Testing may include written, oral, performance, or other evaluation methods appropriate to measure knowledge, skills and abilities required.
