Job Summary

Job Summary

Plan, organize, control and direct Coastline ROP instructional and student services programs, services, and activities; coordinate and direct personnel, resources, course offerings, student achievement functions, and communications to meet ROP needs; enhance learning and achievement and program effectiveness; serve as an advisor to the Superintendent and provide leadership in the areas of articulation, grants and in industry advisory meetings; coordinate career guidance programs, communications, and information between students, parents, instructors, staff, high school administrators and counselors, employers, outside agencies and the public; oversee and participate in a variety of promotional, and student recruitment and registration activities; supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel.

Requirements / Qualifications

-Possess a valid California Administrative Credential. -Bachelor's degree with coursework in career preparation or educational administration (Master's degree preferred). -Valid California driver's license. -Seven years of increasingly responsible experience working with instructional functions in a secondary, ROP, or similar vocational education program. -At least six years in an effective management, shared decision-making, and program planning capacity.
