Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the assigned supervisor, implements all processes and procedures that pertain to employee benefits that include, but are not limited to, group health and welfare insurance, other employee voluntary group plans, cafeteria plans, COBRA plan, 403b/457b plans, worker's compensation benefits, retiree benefits and employee attendance related functions. Coordinates in conjunction with the Business Services Department, the Human Resources Department, and Payroll Staff. Performs account reconciliations, prepares journal entries and other related duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school with two years of college or three years of increasingly responsible experience in the maintenance of statistical records. Financial record keeping experience involving manual, machine and computer accounting systems. Ability to work under minimal supervision. Working knowledge of California State School Accounting requirements. Must pass district test.
