Preschool Prep Teacher Part-time, 20-30 hours per week non-profit organization Mission & Team Holy Cross Lutheran Academy has been serving children and families for over a decade! We offer full and half-day programs for children ages 2 through kindergarten in a Christian environment. Programs include: Preschool Prep (2 year olds), Preschool (3 year olds), Pre-K (4 year olds), Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, Morning and Afternoon Enrichment. We are open Monday through Friday 7 - 5PM year round. What You’ll Do A Lead Preschool Prep Teacher would be expected to: Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons & activities for children age 2 through kindergarten Be available to a flexible schedule initially between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday Supervise children and guide them in their learning Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom Exercise positive interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents Be willing to perform various housekeeping tasks required of caring for young children in a childcare setting Demonstrate a passion & desire for working with young children Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities Completion of 12 semester units in ECE/Child Development At least 1 year experience working with young children, preferably in a licensed facility Health & Safety Certification and Mandated Reporter Training a plus Background Clearance with the Department of Justice and FBI The Perks Pay range: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour Paid vacation & some holidays Discounted tuition Flexible Work Schedule Invitation to Academy & HCLChurch events Faith-based consultation available Prayer requests encouraged Work with the best team in Rocklin!
