Job Summary
The Adapted Physical Education (APE) Specialist will work closely with the IEP Teams to help support and strategize in providing individualized physical education instruction or services to children, youth, or adults with exceptional physical needs due to gross motor developmental delays or other impairments.
Requirements / Qualifications
-Meet professional APE education requirements of the state of California. -MANDATORY CALIFORNIA CERTIFICATION IN ADAPTIVE P.E. or California PE Teacher eligible for a waiver.
- Single Subject Teaching Credential - Physical Education
- Other (Adapted Physical Education Added Authorization)
