BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction and supervision of the Chief Business Official, the Fiscal Services Director oversees the operation of the Business Services Department. The essential functions include the responsibility for accurate fiscal reporting, accounting, budget development, as well as student body budgeting and control. The Fiscal Services Director directly supervises assigned personnel; provides direction and support for site management and support personnel; and assures compliance in the areas of fiscal record keeping, attendance accounting and student body accounting.
Requirements / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, finance or a related field and four years of professional level accounting experience, including two years of supervisory experience; or equivalent work experience. Experience in a school district setting is desirable.
