Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: -Multiple Subject, Special Education, Career Technical Education, or Designated Subjects Adult Education credential with appropriate teacher authorization issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (or eligible and willing to apply). Note: CTE and Designated Subjects Adult Education credentials require a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, while Multiple Subjects and Special Education require a Bachelor's degree or higher. -Recommended at least two years of experience teaching or working with individuals with disabilities -Flexible and committed to student success -Knowledge of effective instructional strategies -Excellent communication skills -Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team -Ability to drive students in a 10-passenger van when teaching community-based classes -Computer skills (Google Apps preferred) for virtual instruction, assisting students with computer-based lessons, and record keeping

Letter of interest, resume and three letters of recommendation.
