Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform responsible personnel and clerical duties in support of the Human Resources Department; process volunteer applications; schedule and process Live Scan fingerprinting for the District and public; provide information and assistance in person and on the telephone to District personnel, staff and the public regarding personnel matters; maintain confidentiality of sensitive and privileged information.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Education: Graduation from high school or equivalent. Supplemental college level coursework in business administration, human resources, or related field is desired. Experience: Two years increasingly responsible clerical experience. Any combination of training and/or experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities may be considered. Testing: Passing scores on the following District tests: Human Resources Assistant, Letter Formatting, Proofreading, and a typing/keyboarding speed of 40 WPM, within the last three years. TESTING INFORMATION: The following District tests will be given by invitation only on Thursday, February 16, 2023: Human Resources Technician, Letter Formatting, Proofreading, and Keyboarding/Typing. Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be invited to test and notified via email.

Therefore, if hired please be prepared to present appropriate documentation verifying identity and ability to work legally in the U.S.
