Roberto Cruz’s vision of providing quality education and support for all underserved learners, with a focus on Latino students. With 106 committed staff members, TFHE now serves over 1,050 students from the community neighborhoods of Mayfair, Mt. Pleasant, Sylvandale, Santee, and Alum Rock in East San Jose. The Foundation for Hispanic Education (TFHE) is seeking outstanding candidates for our non-profit organization and three (3) charter high schools. Successful candidates will be part of an educational system committed to its mission to identify, understand, and address Latino education achievement gaps through innovation and collaboration. This posting will generate an eligibility pool of candidates for site-specific administrator vacancies that open for the 2023/24 school year. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: -Instructional Leader -Supervise the school’s educational program -Supervise and evaluate all certificated, classified, and administrative staff -Promote and align the school mission, within the school and greater community -Promote a college and career going culture -Oversee, implement, and manage a process for analyzing data to increase student achievement and data-driven classroom instruction -Develop orientation, in-service, collaboration, and professional training for school staff -Align school budgets to student achievement -All other duties as assigned -Leadership & Administration +Fosters a community of collective responsibility; promotes a collaborative culture among teachers, administrators, and other school leaders to ensure improvement in instruction and student learning. +Understands the impact that families, cultures, and communities have on student learning, and promotes effective interactions among teachers, families, student
