Newcastle Elementary School District is seeking qualified and passionate candidates to join our eligibility pool for a 0.4 FTE Art or Music teaching position. This position is funded through Proposition 28, which provides ongoing support for arts and music education in California public schools. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with school staff to deliver high-quality, standards-based instruction in either visual arts or music.

Requirements / Qualifications

Valid California Teaching Credential authorizing instruction in Art or Music English Learner Authorization (CLAD or equivalent) Demonstrated experience or interest in working with elementary and/or middle school students Strong communication and classroom management skills **Include in your EdJoin Application: Letter of Interest Resume Three (3) current letters of recommendation Copies of appropriate credentials
