Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Migrant Education Coordinator, plans, organizes, coordinates, and performs a variety of services for Ventura County Office of Education Migrant Education Program. Coordinates the centralized Identification & Recruitment of Migrant Education students county wide to include development of strategic plans, training and professional development of recruiters, and quality assurance of the entire recruitment process. Works to support Migrant Education students’ academic and social-emotional development through targeted support of goals, actions and services identified in the local school districts’ Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) and monitors progress on goal attainment regularly; Train, supervise and evaluate assigned personnel. (Bilingual/Biliterate (Spanish) required)

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: Bachelor's degree in one of the social sciences, vocational education, public administration and two years experience in leadership, program development and management or related field. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California driver's license. Bilingual, Biliterate (Spanish)
