Job Summary

This recruitment will be used to form an eligibility list. The eligibility list will be active for a period of six months and will be utilized to fill current and future vacancies in this classification. Purpose Statement: Under the direction of the Special Services Executive Director, will participate as a member of the educational team to assess student performance in the areas of disability; develop assessment reports; identify student abilities within educational, developmental or functional parameters; develop goals and objectives for consideration in the IEP team meeting; develop individual physical therapy intervention plans based on educational needs; maintain appropriate documentation and reports and provide staff development training and consultative support to education personnel. Distinguishing Characteristics: Employees in this position will be required to work in an indoor and outdoor environment, and come in direct contact with students, EDCOE staff, and school districts’ staff.

Requirements / Qualifications

Job Requirements: - Education/Training: Bachelor’s Degree, in physical therapy from an accredited institution. Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in California. - Experience: One year supervised experience providing physical therapy services.
