Under the direction of the Director of School Climate, Leadership and Instructional Services Department in the Professional Learning & Instructional Support Division, the coordinator researches, develops, coordinates, implements and assesses staff development in the content area of History-Social Science (HSS), Ethnic Studies, and Civic Engagement in accordance with State and Federal mandates and district/school/curriculum needs for curriculum reform and strategic planning specific to HSS, Civic Engagement; provides technical, specialized, consultative, advisory and planning services in HSS, Civic Engagement & literacy; provides direction and leadership to interpret data in the development and implementation of strategic plans for schools; serves as a resource to program representatives and the County Office. <B> Please click attached addendum for more </B<
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE -Master' s degree in education, assigned instructional area, or related field and five ( 5) years of teaching experience, including increasingly responsible experience conducting professional development activities. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: -Valid California Administrative Services Credential -Valid California Teaching or Pupil Personnel Services Credential -Valid California driver' s license
