Job Summary
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform a variety of clerical duties related to attendance accounting and record-keeping in a school office; contact parents and guardians to report and verify excused and unexcused absences; operate a computer terminal as needed to enter and update attendance data.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and one year general clerical experience involving record-keeping. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Some positions in this class may be required to utilize oral and written communications abilities in a second designated language. Assignments are 4 to 8 hours, determined by the needs of the District. Valid California Class C driver's license. Incumbents are required to operate personal vehicles and provide proof of insurance.
