Job Summary

The District Nurse is responsible to the Director of Special Services and implements the health services and health education at the seven schools within the Walnut Creek School District.

Requirements / Qualifications

Applicant must have an active CA RN license, a BS degree in nursing or a related field, School Nurse Credential or preliminary Credential.

We operate five K-5 neighborhood elementary schools (three with TK), one K-8 school, and one 6-8 intermediate school. Grades TK-5 are primarily self-contained, while grades 6-8 offer a mixture of core and elective classes. The district serves a population of approximately 3,600 students within the city of Walnut Creek.
