Job Summary
This recruitment will be used to fill one (1) Full-Time position working 8 hours per day, 12 months per year. Under the direction of the Director of Information Technology, provides support to office and District personnel in solving complex server and systems problems, as well as identifying priorities, assessing security issues and taking appropriate corrective action; monitors and generates reports of systems performance and bandwidth utilization; evaluates, recommends, installs, and supports District servers and related software and hardware; responsible for all facets of the systems security, diagnosis, and resolution of hardware and software problems; possesses the ability to work independently with little supervision; writes and revises system documentation, documents security and exposures as well as any corrective actions related to work responsibilities; supervises and evaluates assigned staff; and performs related duties as assigned. *Pending PC Approval*
Requirements / Qualifications
Graduation from a college or university with a major in computer sciences, computer information systems, management information systems or a related field; and/or seven years of progressively responsible professional technology services or information systems demonstrated experience in technical applications development, implementation, and support. Experience working in a public or private educational setting desired. MCSE: Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, Network+ or equivalent certifications are desired. License: A valid Class C California Driver License Other: An automobile to be used in the course of work that meets the current legal requirements for vehicle operation in the State of California, including proof of insurance. A DMV driving report is required prior to employment.
