KUSD teachers enjoy many benefits including a four-day work week and a school calendar that features breaks in the Fall, Winter, and Spring, as well as six weeks off in the summer! The Monday through Thursday work week and 148-day contract provide for a work-life balance difficult to match. This regular, full-time teaching position for our 2025-2026 school year is at Kingman Unified School District's Desert Willow Elementary School in Kingman, AZ. Home of the Diamondback Rattlesnakes is what our students at Desert Willow are known as. Ms. Blattner the school Principal has filled the halls with joyful students by implementing a project-based learning enviroment for students to put their knowledge to the test and connect their learning with real-world applications. Providing the children with an educational foundation for lifelong sucess.

In addition to base salary, teachers are eligible to earn approximately $6,000-$8,000 in 301 money. Candidates offered and accepting critical needs teaching positions in math, science, and kindergarten may be eligible to receive a one-time $2,000 stipend. Candidates offered and accepting critical needs teaching positions in special education may be eligible to receive a one-time $5,000 stipend and are eligible for an additional case management stipend in FY 2022-23 of up to $4,000. All critical needs stipends are pending appropriate teaching certification. The District also offers generous benefits including options for medical, dental, vision and life insurance with no out-of-pocket premium costs.
