Requirements / Qualifications

Requirements / Qualifications Responsibilities: Under general direction of the Communications Director, plans and coordinates the production of promotional and informational videos, graphics, photography, and other multimedia content for internal and external audiences. Services may include video production, photography, graphic design, social media and website content and graphic support, and/or website management (using a template service and with training). Develops work based on assignment, planning and developing pre-production ideas, determining the most effective format, approach, content, level, and media. Assists with script writing and outlines, directing the staging of activities for videotaping/photography, filming/photographing footage and interviews, editing content, and posting content to appropriate platforms. Sets up, adjusts, and operates related equipment such as portable camera/switcher systems, cameras, sound mixers, audio recorders, and related production equipment. Meets goals and objectives by a given deadline and works independently to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Education/Experience: Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required knowledge and skills is qualifying. Knowledge of: Types and uses of audio-visual equipment and materials; operation of professional video and non-linear editing systems; still photography processing equipment; Mac computer systems; Adobe Creative Suite; Canva; Google Suite (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, Google Docs); posting and managing videos in YouTube; creating, posting, and managing content on website and social media platforms Other: Equipment provided including cameras, lenses, tripods, lights, wireless and handheld microphones, Mac computer, two monitors, software and applications. Must provide own vehicle. Requirements for applying: Attach portfolio with samples of work Google Doc with links to online samples of work is accepted
