Requirements / Qualifications

Desired Qualifications/Attributes: Must provide a portfolio or writing samples Reliable, driven and communicative of needs Willingness to take initiative and work independently when necessary while being collaborative in team projects and planning Ability to work 20 hours per week; we will work with scheduling to accommodate classes, extracurricular activities or other jobs Ability to be flexible and attend occasional evening and weekend events Studies in communications, journalism, media, photography or related fields required Professional demeanor, punctuality and attention to detail in communications and work products Political awareness; knows when to use discretion and thinks before acting or speaking Bilingual English/Spanish desired Must include all five (5) items to be considered for the position of Communications Intern:

  • Copy of Transcript (Evidence of College Enrollment )
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Must submit 1 letter within the last year)
  • Proof of HS Graduation (Or equivalent)
  • Resume
