Monrovia High School is seeking a highly effective candidate with extensive football coaching experience to serve as the Head Coach of the Monrovia HS Football program. Outstanding work history as a coach is required. Applicants must provide the following documents as part of their application: 1. Letter of Introduction sharing your football coaching experience 2. Resume: Coaching 3. Three (3) current Letters of Recommendation (within the past year) 4. Current Coaching Certifications/Clearances: First Aid/CPR, etc. The following is an outline of the expectations of a head coach in Monrovia USD. MONROVIA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT JOB TITLE: COACH ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Coaches individuals and groups in skills, performance, team work and sportsmanship. 2. Plans and schedules an effective program of practice. 3. Cooperates with Athletic Director in scheduling activities. 4. Maintains discipline, player safety, team spirit and sportsmanlike behavior at all times. 5. Recommends purchase of supplies, equipment and uniforms. 6. Cooperates in issuance and collection of uniforms. 7. Cooperates in maintaining attendance, insurance records and physical clearance. 8. Cooperates in maintaining eligibility criteria. 9. Oversees facilities for safe conditions. 10. Acts as liaison between community and the school, and between the press and school in matters concerning area of activity. 11. Acts as a team member of the school staff and cooperates
