Minimum Qualifications:

 

Master’s degree in accountancy or business administration with accounting concentration

 

OR

 

Bachelor’s degree in business with accounting emphasis or business administration with accounting emphasis or economics with an accounting emphasis

 

AND

 

Master’s in business, business administration, business education, taxation, or finance

 

OR Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area

 

OR the equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education, training, employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee.

 

(NOTE: A Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or business administration with accounting concentration, with a CPA license is an alternative qualification for this discipline)

This is a continuous recruitment to fill part-time, and temporary faculty assignments on an as-needed basis. When the need to fill arises, the department will refer to this pool of part-time faculty.
