TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT 2022/2023 SCHOOL YEAR ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Capture and edit audio/video projects to be used for district/school/events spotlights, district branding and marketing using multiple audio/video editing software (such as AVID, Final Cut Pro X, Logic Pro X, Motion, Compressor and/or Adobe Premiere/AfterEffects Produce). Create “how-to” and/or outreach videos for distribution via closed-circuit systems as well as multiple digital formats including various social media platforms, i.e. youtube, twitter, etc. Maintain and facilitate video production facilities and production calendars. Design and layout major publications which may include but are not limited to catalogs, guides and how to documents, ebooks, posters, brochures, banners, handbooks, curricular materials, postcards, web headers, social media, and video production for streaming and broadcast. Able to edit photos, lay out text, create original illustrations and artwork. Able to collaborate with teachers, school and district administrators to develop print, video, web-based, and mobile campaign formats. Able to monitor a consistent branding standard across multiple platforms. Able to maintain the district website and serve as primary liaison between district and schools. Able to monitor and update district social media accounts. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associates or Bachelor of Arts, preferably in graphic arts, film production, or related field, and a minimum of two years of experience working as a media production specialist, graphic artist, videographer or related field. Knowledge and Abilities Required: Ability to work with a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends. Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines, prioritize projects and organize physical and digital files, meet with potential clients and arrange interviews, photoshoots, and various footage.
