Job Summary
Serve as the chief administrative officer of this Distinguished Gold Ribbon School District; provide leadership and direction for the planning, implementation, and management of the educational and operational programs of the District.
Requirements / Qualifications
Possess a valid California Administrative Services Credential. Masters Degree required. Classroom teaching and administrative experience required. Experience as a school administrator preferred. District office experience preferred.

Due to the retirement of long-time Superintendent, Charlotte Hines, the Board of Education is seeking to hire a new Superintendent to start July 1, 2023.
The Kings County Office of Education is conducting the search on behalf of the Island Union Elementary School District Board of Trustees.
