Applicants must meet the requirements specified in the LUSD Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description. Applicants should be proficient in delivering speech and language instruction to students with identified special needs in accordance with IEPs or intervention plans; competent in assessing students for special education eligibility and to identify areas of need related communication, speech and language performance at school; be knowledgeable in supporting students to access and make progress in the general education curriculum, grades TK-8. Specific school site(s) to be determined. Credit will be given for up to twelve years of prior teaching experience.
