Responsibilities Implement teacher-created lessons for individuals or small groups. Implement student accommodations and modifications according to IEPs. Collaborate with other staff members to meet the holistic needs of assigned students. Assist students with mobility needs (may involve lifting, toileting, etc.) Assist with appropriate behavior intervention, as directed by the teacher/supervisor Escort students safely from place to place within the school setting. Aid in the administration of teacher, District, and state assessments. Collect data on student progress as directed by the teacher. Maintain confidentiality regarding student and family information with regards to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). It offers fair and predictable compensation to ensure SLLIS is retaining top talent. The annual salary for this position is competitive and rages from $32,568 – $38,173. Your salary would be based on the number of years of experience you have.
