"THIS IS A CATEGORICALLY FUNDED POSITION" 7 hours per day; 138 work days (Includes extended school breaks & Mondays off) Salary placement will be determined on teaching experience and college coursework at an hourly rate of the Teacher's Salary Schedule A ($ 40.34 - $81.94 per hour) BCLAD (Spanish) Stipend for eligible candidates Up to 10 years max service credit for new hires Medical, Vision, & Dental (prorated based on hours worked) Under the general supervision of the site administrator, the Interventionist serves as specialized classroom teacher for students in need of academic intervention. Requirements / Qualifications
Must possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing services in English with CLAD, BCLAD, or English Learner Authorization One year of successful teaching experience at the secondary level Applicant must meet all CBEST requirements and must have passed the CSET for subject matter or possess a degree in subject area. Possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle Operator’s license Ability to maintain insurability under the District’s vehicle insurance policy

Comments and Other Information
Appointment to this position predicated upon submitting a negative TB result. In addition, the selected candidate must complete the state fingerprinting requirements and the district must receive a certificate of clearance by the California Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation. Within three days of employment, all new employees shall show appropriate documents, which certify that they are legally eligible to work in the United States.
