
Bus Driver II - 6.0 hours at Transportation at Beaumont Unified School District
Job Summary
Job Summary
Under general supervision, a person who operates a school bus on various field trips transporting school children, teacher, and adults, and does other related work as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; must possess a valid California Commercial License with a Passenger and School Bus endorsement; must have a valid School Bus Certificate; must have a valid up-to-date Medical Examiner's Certificate; Operates a wheelchair lift for entry and exit from bus; secure wheel chairs; assist in the loading and unloading of handicapped children as necessary.

One year of bus driving experience.
Ability to navigate a bus in varied terrain such as mountains and big cities.
Night driving experience.
Knowledge of:
• School bus transportation procedures and safe bus driving practices;
• State laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to school bus operations and pupil transportation.
• First aid practices.
