Job Summary

Job Summary

The San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting for a <b>Coordinator, Early Education</b> for the <b>Early Education Department</b> of the <b>Learning & Leadership Services Division</b>. The Coordinator, Early Education coordinates an assigned program and related activities to Early Education; provides information to others; and implements and maintains services within established guidelines and standards. “Please note that this position is grant-funded based on year-to-year allocations. This position is full-time and will offer the certificated management benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, and will participate in the CalSTRS state retirement system.

Requirements / Qualifications

This position requires a combination of education and experience equivalent to a Master’s degree in education, child development, psychology or related field; at least three (3) years of supervisory and/or management experience with family child care and/or preschool programs and staff required. Previous experience providing and developing professional development for early childhood administrators, knowledge and experience with state- and federal-funded programs, program management experience preferred. Certificates and Licenses: • Valid Administrator Services Credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing • Valid California Driver License with Evidence of Insurability
