Trinity High School in Weaverville, CA is looking for a dynamic candidate to teach and help oversee the Agriculture Program. TAUSD is seeking an individual who can teach Agriculture Courses. Classes offered include, but aren't limited to AG Science, AG Earth Science, Forestry and Horticulture. The instructor will be expected to work with the FFA students on the farm, as well as provide project supervision. The students compete in CDE competitions during the school year, and at the county fair. Instructor will be expected to supervise the students in these competitions. Finally, TAUSD is looking for an instructor who works and communicates well, with strong community support, in an AG program that has a long-standing tradition of quality participation.

Requirements / Qualifications

Resume', Ed Join Application, 2 current letters of Recommendation, Copy of Transcripts, Copy of Credential Valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential authorizing agriculture/Ag mechanics courses (Single Subject in Agriculture and Specialist instruction Agriculture) and CLAD certificate. Must be NCLB compliant at the time of hire. Position is full time beginning in the 2023 - 2024 school year. District pays $12,000.00 annual contribution toward family Health (including prescriptions) Dental & Vision insurance. Upon offer of employment, the following will be required: DOJ/FBI (fingerprints) clearance, a pre-employment physical, a drug test and a required TB clearance.
