Job Summary

Job Summary

Farb Middle School has a full time (1.0 FTE), 10 month calendar vacancy. This position is teaching Math to 6th, 7th , and 8th grade students in the STARS program. The STARS program has students who have high functioning autism and who are diploma bound. Class size range from 5-10 students. There is also a special education teacher in each class to help support students.

Requirements / Qualifications

Qualified candidates must be have a California single subject math OR multiple subjects with a math supplemental credential. Credentials must be registered with the California Commission of Teacher Credentialing by the closing date. Experience teaching students with autism preferred, but not required. Applicants must have a valid California driver's license and be prepared to conduct, participate in, and travel to sites, professional development sessions, workshops, and meetings.
