Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent/Designee, the Behavior Specialist must conduct comprehensive functional behavioral analysis leading to the development of behavior intervention plans for students with disabilities with behavioral, mental health, learning and social-emotional challenges.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience working with students with disabilities • Master's degree in behavioral science, psychology, social work, sociology, education or related field and one of the following: - Valid Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential authorizing service in School Psychology - Valid Professional Clear Special Education/Education Specialist Teaching Credential with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification **RECOMMENDED - Ability to communicate in Spanish

The following documents must be submitted with the application in order to be considered: - Three (3) Letters of Recommendation signed and dated within six (6) months - Copy of Credentials - Copy of Transcripts - Resume

Comments and Other Information

Up to ten (10) years qualified experience as service credit on the salary schedule will be allowed for new employees. Employment contingent upon Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance and Tuberculosis Screening.
