Invo Healthcare is Hiring! We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TODHH) in the San Francisco, CA area. We take pride in our in-school services. We have an exciting opportunity for a positive, motivated, and experienced TODHH looking for daytime hours in a school setting. If you’re looking to use your experience and skills to help drive progress, deliver outcomes and empower children, families and teachers then you found the right place! We are currently expanding our team in your area and have an incredible full-time opportunity available to deliver quality services to children in a K-12 school program.
Requirements / Qualifications
- State Instructional Certificate in Special Education to teach the deaf, hard of hearing and hearing impaired
- Bachelor's Degree
- Need teacher to work directly with hearing impaired students, the evaluation of hearing impaired students, and the review of the doctor's hearing impaired paperwork
- Knowledge of the materials, equipment and devices available to hearing impaired children and techniques for teaching their use
- Knowledge of the theory, principles and practices of language development, auditory training, lip reading and speech training
- Personal commitment to driving positive outcomes for students
- Collaborative minded professional ?with strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work and build strong relationships with parents, teachers and school administrators?
- Experience working in schools or with children a plus, but not required
