The KCNS Teacher Induction Program Our Teacher Induction Program is available at no cost to all new teachers within the KCNS family. We welcome teachers with Preliminary California Teaching Credentials (General Education – Single Subject, General Education – Multiple Subject, Education Specialist – Mild/Moderate, and/or Education Specialist – Moderate/Severe), teachers with existing Clear California Credentials, and out-of-state teachers who are new to California. We also welcome educators who are transferring to KCNS from other California Induction Programs. Our candidates receive 2 years of weekly mentor support and guidance from veteran colleagues, rooted in the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP) framework, as well as unlimited access to valuable program resources. It is our commitment to clear the credentials of our new teachers, while providing an individualized network of support and professional learning. Welcome aboard!
