Job Summary

Job Summary

Under general supervision of the principal or site administrator, serves in a liaison capacity between the students and the school, home, and community. Responsible for organizing, planning, publicizing, coordinating, and conducting various community outreach programs. Assists with assigned administration tasks. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BILINGUAL SPANISH STRONGLY PREFERRED Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalency Experience: Combination of training and experience of progressively responsible security or counseling experience, which has provided the required level of knowledge and abilities. Some experience working with large groups of school-age students. Training in keyboarding, personal computer literacy, and general clerical operations. Basic English usage, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and report and/or letter writing. Experience in counseling, education, recreation, or closely related field, preferably in work with students of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

Responsible for organizing, planning, publicizing, coordinating and conducting on-site programs. Meets with students on an individual and group basis to support the unique needs of students during transitions. Individuals with a military background strongly encouraged to apply.
