The Youth Advocacy Department has one full-time (1.0 FTE), 11- month vacancy. The Youth Advocacy has a Project Resource Teacher vacancy. The basic role of this position is to implement ABAR (anti-biased, anti-racist) practices at the site and department levels. Work with a team to support various school sites, create and deliver professional development opportunities that center ABAR, and coach administrators and educators in youth advocacy both in-person and virtually.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualified applicants must have a valid California teaching credential. Credentials must be registered with the California Commission of Teacher Credentialing by the closing date. A minimum of five years experience as an educator and experience in working with student leaders. Foundational knowledge of equity work in public education and culturally responsive pedagogy is highly desired.
