Job Summary
Provides supervision and individualized instruction for students in order for them to complete high school graduation requirements; participate in Career Technical Education Partnership (CTEP), work experience programs, or acquire a work permit; maintains program quality and compliance with state guidelines and implements assigned policy and administrative regulations; Utilize course of study adopted by the Board of Education, California State Curriculum Frameworks and appropriate learning activities to teach the curriculum.

This position will be assigned to the Oasis North Independent Studies program. The posting is open until filled and qualified candidates will be invited to interview. Must hold a Single Subject Credential in Mathematics or Foundational Level Mathematics.
School Year: 185 days per year. Location: Oasis North Independent Studies. Class Hours: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (7.5 hrs./day). MA (pro-rated) stipend $1,500; Doctorate (pro-rated) stipend $400. Fully paid dental and vision insurance covering both employee and dependents. The employee is also provided with long-term disability insurance and life insurance. Medical benefits: There is an employee paid portion for medical benefits depending upon the medical plan chosen which covers employee and dependents. MUST SUBMIT RESUME; THREE LETTERS OF REFERENCE AND A COVER LETTER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.
