Requirements / Qualifications

Experience: Job related experience within a specialized field is required. Education: Targeted, job related education with study in job-related area. Equivalency: Any combination equivalent to: Graduation from high school AND three (3) years of training/work experience as an apprentice Locksmith or at least three (3) years experience as a Maintenance Worker II with the Barstow Unified School District in an area in which the incumbent has acquired journey-level skill in this trade as determined and certified to by the Director - Facilities, Maintenance and Operations. CERTIFICATES: Driver's License & Evidence of Insurability

Test Information: The testing process may consist of a minimum of two or more parts; written multiple choice examination(s) and/or verbal performance examinations. Applicants must pass the first test to be invited/considered for the second exercise. Applicants will be notified if they meet the minimum qualifications required to take the written examination. Candidates are required to present a valid picture identification prior to sign-in. Please allow at least 2 or more hours for the exam process.
