Job Summary
The Senior Systems Analyst/Programmer performs a variety of complex duties in the analysis, design, programming, testing, implementation and maintenance of the district's administrative and instructional support systems. Provides district departments and personnel with information technology and procedural solutions to support specific functionality requirements. The Senior Systems Analyst/Programmer will work as a member of a team that has responsibility for planning, development, implementation and maintenance of the district's Student Information System (SIS). PowerSchool. Experience with PowerSchool SIS preferred.

The San Diego Unified School District is recruiting for the position of Senior Systems Analyst/Programmer. This is a full time (40 hours per week) 12 month per year position. This opportunity is open to all interested candidates. There is currently one, 12-month, full-time position available that will primarily support PowerSchool. The Senior Systems Analyst/Programmer will be paid on the OTBS Salary Schedule. Salary Grade: 61.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination of education, experience, and/or training equivalent to graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or directly related field and four years of recent, progressively responsible experience in systems development and programming of major applications.
