DUAL CERTIFICATION OPPORTUNITY To fill a current vacancy, 8 hours per day, 12 months per year in the Bond Department. This recruitment will also establish an eligibility list to fill future vacancies. The established list will remain in effect for one year. CLOSING DATE: This recruitment is open until filled and may close at any time; therefore, the schedule for the remainder of the process will depend upon when we receive a sufficient number of qualified applications to meet business needs. Applications will be reviewed on a continuous basis, and qualified applicants will proceed to the next step in the recruitment process as soon as paper screening has been completed for their submitted application Under the direction of the Director of Facilities performs technical and responsible functions and activities related to the planning, coordination and implementation of the District's new school facilities, relocatable classrooms and modernization/remodeling of existing buildings; plans, organizes and develops facilities reports and summaries. Employees in this job class receive minimal supervision within a broad framework of general guidelines. This job class functions at a high level of technical expertise and supervises the daily work of staff involved in the facilities planning function. Employment is for the duration of the bond- funded construction program only. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination of education, training and/or experience equivalent to: A bachelor’s degree in Planning, Engineering, Architecture or a closely related field 2 years increasingly responsible experience in planning, architecture/engineering or construction/construction management. Additional qualifying experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year for year basis.
