Job Summary
Under general direction, provide a variety of responsible secretarial support services to the administration of an assigned school. Assist in maintaining the day-to-day operation of a school office. Receive limited supervision from the Principal of a school within a broad framework of standard policies and procedures. Work requires independent judgment, initiative and superior communication and secretarial skills. Trains and directs the work of other office personnel, including students and volunteers.
Requirements / Qualifications
Any combination of experience and training that would indicate possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities listed herein. Completion of the 12th grade or equivalent with coursework in office practices; two to three years of advanced secretarial or clerical work experience including the use of supervisory skills, preferably in a school setting. Some experience working with children is desirable.
